If you're seeking to make highly technical information easily accessible to your learners, I'm the ideal instructional designer for the task. I specialize in crafting trainings and courses that not only deliver engaging interactions but also present complex information in a digestible manner. Drawing from my extensive background in learning and education, I am well-equipped to enhance your workforce through meticulously developed training materials.
By employing the ADDIE and SAM models, I conduct a comprehensive needs analysis to help you determine the most suitable learning methods. Often, organizations might be uncertain about the type of training that suits their needs best. Whether you're considering eLearning courses, Instructor-Led Trainings (ILT), or virtual Instructor-Led Trainings (vILT), I possess the expertise in adult learning principles to ensure that these learner centered training sessions are not only effective but also aligned with your organization's learning objectives.
Should you prefer brief, focused bursts of learning, I am adept at creating microlearning content, employing videos and job aids. Through the creation of design documents and storyboards, I provide stakeholders with a clear trajectory of the course development process. Valuable feedback received during the various design stages ensures that the training's intended goals are consistently met.
While I thrive on the autonomy of working independently, I also excel in collaborative team settings. My adaptability enables me to seamlessly align with stakeholders, ensuring that deadlines are consistently achieved. I approach challenges with the same determination instilled in me by my grandmother, allowing me to persevere in the face of adversity. My work is a source of pride, and my meticulous attention to detail consistently yields exceptional end products.
Some aspects from my personal life:
I have 2 teenage children who keep me busy with various sports and activities. As a family, we enjoy camping, hiking, and downhill skiing. Living in western Montana allows us the ability to do all of those things with ease.
I also enjoy 3D printing, watercolor painting, modern brush calligraphy, and I'm currently learning about aquaponics.
My husband and I have been married for 18 years and we moved our family to Montana in 2015. We make frequent trips back to southern Wisconsin to visit our family.
